Smart booking – that is what smaboo is offering businesses interested in increasing their booking efficiency. More than just a standard booking platform, smaboo connects businesses with their customers and allows them to notify customers about free timeslots due to late cancellations.
The community aspect is important and users can share appointment details and thereby increase the networking effect.
The young start-up is initially focused on restaurants, cosmetic studios and hairdressers, but the industries where the platform can eventually be used are many.
The app can be downloaded for iOS or Android and there is an admin system for businesses where they can configure and manage all their details. After the initial launch, the agency tractionwise was brought onboard to oversee a marketing push with a focus to get more businesses to sign-up for the service.
As the new content and direction took shape, I was tasked with re-building the website. This involved adding functionality, updating layouts and styling, as well as adding content. The website is built using WordPress so the old code got streamlined into a new child theme, outdated code got cleaned up and the setup modernised.
smaboo has launched a great product and I look forward to a continued collaboration.
