Lately I have been working on a number of websites for different environmental projects, which has been both challenging and rewarding. Everything from websites built from scratch such as The Global Bean Project to a number of projects being migrated from TYPO3 to WordPress.
Marianne Burkert-Eulitz is a long-time Green Party politician and since 2011 a member of the Berlin state parliament. She had an active WordPress website that needed to be updated. Since the theme used was no longer being developed, the job included migrating to a new theme – as well as the usual system and plug-in updates.
The content layout was adapted to fit the new theme and in the same process, we also overhauled the permalinks to simplify the structure.
