For this project there was already a functioning WordPress website, but it needed a refresh.
With the provided design, I rebuilt the structure from the ground up and created a new theme. A sleek and modern design, it needed to be easy to add and edit content in the admin, while making sure that the design stayed coherent.
This was a fun project to work on, but it contained a lot of small design quirks such as special image shapes and gradient text colours, some of which turned out to be more challenging than expected. Oftentimes a design is not complex on its own, but when building it as a web design and especially in a way that non-technical editors can easily replicate and work with, it adds another level of complexity.
This was a project with Docleads, where I was in charge of rebuilding the WordPress website and implementing the new design.
